CS:GO Update – Welcome Tobias “tow b” Herberhold

Berlin, August 15th 2019 – As part of our initiative to restructure our Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup, we are delighted to announce the arrival of Tobias “tow b” Herberhold as our new head coach!

Tobias’ aptitude for coaching is undeniable, after seeing the amount of progress Sprout has made under his guidance. Known for his effective strategic approach and strong leadership skills, Tobias will bring an invaluable skillset to BIG as we aim to consolidate our new lineup.

In the following weeks, Tobias will be playing a key role in implementing a system built around the strengths of our new line-up, and refining our brand of Counter-Strike as we move into another season of competition. He will also assist Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz with his new role as our ingame leader, and ensure the maintenance of a strong team spirit that in turn will help improve the players at an individual level.

Statement Daniel Finkler, CEO

Two weeks after we welcomed Johannes “nex” Maget and Owen “smooya” Butterfield back to the main roster, I am more than happy to announce Tobias “tow b” Herberhold as our new head coach. During the last two years, tow b has proved himself to be an excellent leader. His great personality, knowledge and experience will help us to refine our CS:GO division and implement an effective system around the strengths of our players. Welcome to BIG, tow b!

Statement Tobias “tow b” Heberhold, Head Coach

I’m really excited to take this challenge. We’ll go for the same fresh tactical approach that I followed with Sprout lately. Combined with the huge experience of the BIG family we will create something great. Johannes “tabseN“ Wodarz will take the in-game lead and we both will work close together. There is no doubt that he will fill his role pretty fast and that we’ll build the right system around him to make him a great and consistent IGL. There is a lot of work to do in the next months and I can’t wait to start.

Tobias will join us as our coach after he has completed his obligations for his current club, and will already be standing behind our team at the Game Clash Masters in Gdynia, Poland.
