BIG OMEN ACADEMY QUALIFY FOR ESLM FINALS!

Berlin, May 29, 2023 – After securing victory in last year’s Autumn split of the ESL Meisterschaft, the BIG OMEN Academy has returned to the battlefield, all set to defend their hard-earned title!

Our journey began with the Play-In Group Stage, where the squad demonstrated their impeccable form. The team commanded a strong start to the season, merely dropping a single map, whilst triumphantly seizing victory in both maps across all other series. This wave of success was not about to break any time soon.

As the teams transitioned into the Main Group Stage, the BIG OMEN Academy was sown into the top six, a fierce battleground for the highly-coveted upper-bracket finals spot. Despite an initial setback against Entropy Gaming, our resilient team recovered in spectacular fashion, securing a second-place finish and booking their direct ticket to the upper-bracket final of the playoffs against top seed ALTERNATE aTTaX.

The stakes were high and the pressure intense, yet our BIG OMEN Academy rose to the challenge. After a tight first map that fell in favor of aTTaX, our squad countered with a decisive victory on Anubis, their chosen map. They carried this momentum into Overpass, ultimately clinching the series and securing their spot in the grand LAN final in Krefeld, Germany.
