Berlin, Germany – July 2026 – The Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 is approaching, and Berlin International Gaming (BIG) is set to compete on one of the biggest international stages of the year. With Fortnite and Trackmania already qualified and Counter-Strike 2 competing for the final spot, BIG has multiple opportunities to compete on one of esports’ biggest stages.
BIG Fortnite Duo Vic0 and Malibuca Qualify for Paris
BIG’s first confirmed representatives for the Esports World Cup are Taylor-Petrik “vic0” Gatschelhofer and Danila “Malibuca” Iakovenko, who secured their qualification for the Reload Elite Series Championship 2026 earlier this year.
The duo earned their place through the Reload Elite Series 2026 Qualifier 2: Europe, where they secured a strong 3rd-place finish to qualify for the championship event. As part of the Esports World Cup 2026 Fortnite competition, the Reload Elite Series Championship will bring together 40 of the world’s top duos in Paris from August 19–22.
Competing for a $1 million prize pool, vic0 and Malibuca will represent BIG on one of esports’ biggest stages and compete against the strongest Fortnite duos in the world.
BIG Trackmania Secures Two EWC Spots
BIG will also be represented in Trackmania by Nico “GranaDy” Gyarmati and Dennis “Massa” Lotze, who both secured their qualification for the Esports World Cup 2026.
GranaDy earned his place with a 3rd-place finish at Road to EWC: DreamHack Birmingham 2026, while Massa secured qualification through the Elite Cup rankings. Both players will now compete in Paris for a share of the $500,000 prize pool and the opportunity to compete against the best Trackmania players in the world.
BIG CS2 Fights for the Final EWC Spots
Meanwhile, BIG CS2 has one final opportunity to secure a place at the Esports World Cup through the EWC26 CS2 LAN Last Chance Qualifier from August 7–9, 2026.
The qualifier features up to 128 teams competing for the final qualification spots. Following the group stage and playoffs, the top four teams will earn their place at the Esports World Cup, where they will compete for a share of the $2,000,000 prize pool. To reach this BIG will compete against a strong international field featuring teams such as Team Liquid, Virtus.pro, Fnatic, and HEROIC, with the goal of joining BIG’s Fortnite and Trackmania representatives at the global championship event.
A Major Championship Period Ahead
With multiple titles represented and qualification races reaching their final stages, BIG now enters one of the most important periods of the 2026 season. The focus turns to Paris and the opportunity to compete against the best teams and players from around the world.
