After a five-week application and casting phase, we are closing in on the decision. Tonight, starting at 20:00 CET, Fatih "gob b" Dayik, Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk and Michele "zonixx" Köhler will co-cast the final of our OMEN by HP Academy casting.
Reviewing hundreds of applications, replays and cover letters, and analyzing the casting results, has made it clear that the German-speaking DACH region is home to many young, highly talented players.
To ultimately identify the best candidates for us, our expert team had to evaluate a wide range of skills. Beyond in-game potential, communication skills, teamwork and tactical decision-making were ultimately decisive. The selection process was accordingly time-intensive and demanding.
The following 10 candidates will get another chance to prove themselves in today's final of our OMEN by HP Academy casting:
Starting at 20:00 CET, our ten remaining top talents will face off again in a Best-of-3 final and prove themselves in front of our jury. Our expert team featuring Fatih "gob b" Dayik, Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk and Michele "zonixx" Köhler will deliberate until the end of the following day and reach a final decision.
Afterward, we will unveil our official OMEN by HP Academy team, which will from now on compete in all relevant competitions as a permanent part of Berlin International Gaming, led by Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk and Michele "zonixx" Köhler.
