Last Friday it was time again: The Prime League derby against Eintracht Spandau was on the schedule. At the public viewing at the BIG Office, fans were once again right in the thick of it
Eintracht Spandau vs. BIG - This matchup has already become a tradition in the Strauss Prime League, as we have been battling fiercely since late 2021 - in and out of the Rift. A truly special derby highlight was the first public viewing at the BIG Office: Fans were able to watch the match live on site in Berlin and meet the BIG players afterward. That gave the derby an extra special character and was an unforgettable experience for our fans.

On the competitive side, these matchups have always been intense. While we clearly took the derby in the playoffs last split with a 3-0, we had to admit defeat again in the first half of the current split. Last Friday then brought the second-half derby, where we once again invited fans to a public viewing at the BIG Office. A lot was on the line in this match. After our team got off to a brilliant start to the split with five wins, they suffered a few losses in the following matches. With the playoffs in sight, beating league leaders Eintracht Spandau was crucial.
The match went well for us from the start. Vizicsacsi, who had already put in a stellar performance on Rumble the day before, dominated the opposition in the derby as well. After just under half an hour, the match was decided. With the win, we temporarily secured fourth place in the standings with an overall record of 10-6. In the fight for the playoffs, two very strong teams await our players on the remaining two matchdays. On Thursday we play at 10 PM against Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition, who currently sit third in the table and beat us in the first half of the split. On Friday we face mousesports.
