Berlin, April 18, 2023 – Since 2021, the German insurance group has served as BIG's official insurance partner. After two highly successful years together, the partnership will be extended through the end of 2024 and comprehensively expanded.
Since 2021, Die Bayerische has been successfully charting its path in esports together with BIG. During this time, they have already celebrated several high-profile successes: championship titles in the German Strauss Prime League as well as top placements on the European stage (EU Masters) rank among the milestones achieved so far. Most recently, the League of Legends team once again secured a strong result with third place in the Strauss Prime League. Beyond competitive achievements, a key focus of the partnership so far has also been on fostering fan engagement, which culminated in a player jersey designed by the community for the League of Legends team.
With the start of the new year in 2023, this successful partnership can now be extended for another two years. Going forward, Die Bayerische will not only support the BIG League of Legends team as main partner, but will also expand its commitment to the BIG Chroma team – likewise in the form of a principal partnership. The focus in this area is on paving the way for tolerance and diversity in esports, hand in hand. In addition, the BIG Trackmania drivers will also be supported by Die Bayerische as partners at the Trackmania World Cup.
The two-year extension of the partnership reaffirms the shared commitment to a long-term and successful collaboration.
