Berlin, Germany – October 2026 – BIG wins the Opel Trackmania Cup at the Paris Motor Show. Nico “GranaDy” Gyarmati won the tournament live on the Opel stand, while Lars “Lars” Buchholz finished third, giving BIG two players in the top three.
Trackmania at the Paris Motor Show 2026
The Paris Motor Show, which dates back to 1898, brought together more than 60 manufacturers for its 91st edition and welcomed 518,372 visitors in six days. Right in the middle of it, Opel turned its stand into a Trackmania arena as part of its collaboration with Ubisoft’s Trackmania. Organised by GIANTX together with Opel and OverDrive, the Opel Trackmania Cup brought eight players onto bespoke Opel tracks, competing live in front of the visitors for a prize pool of €5,000.
GranaDy Wins the Opel Trackmania Cup in Paris
GranaDy set the pace from the very first game, winning three of the four qualifying games and entering the playoffs as one of the top four players. He went straight through the Upper Bracket Final into the Grand Final and won it against Yannex, Lars and Wingobear. Lars fought his way back through the Lower Bracket Final to finish third.
Lars and GranaDy Outdraw the Official Broadcast on Twitch
Both BIG players also streamed the tournament from their own perspective on Twitch. GranaDy’s stream reached a peak of 1,394 viewers, Lars’ stream a peak of 893, each higher than the official broadcast. Together, their streams generated 9,500 hours watched and more than 30,000 views.
BIG’s Strong October in Trackmania
The win in Paris caps a strong October for BIG’s Trackmania division. On 11 October, Massa and GranaDy won OverDrive 2026 Split 2: Division 1 and qualified for the OverDrive Major in November as well as Division 1 of the 2027 season.
