Berlin, Germany, December 1, 2025 – Berlin International Gaming (BIG) has been a fixture of the European female CS scene for years. Through its female CS team BIG Equipa, the organization demonstrates ongoing commitment to competition, player development, and visibility for women in professional Counter-Strike. Since the very first season of ESL Impact, BIG Equipa has been a regular presence and once again proved its quality this season.
Historic Victory for BIG Equipa at ESL Impact in Stockholm
From November 28 to 30, 2025, BIG Equipa faced MIBR fe in the grand final of ESL Impact Season 8 and came out on top in an exciting best-of-3 with a 2:1 scoreline. On the road to the final, BIG Equipa defeated opponents including NIP Impact, Sakura, and Fingers Crossed fe.
The tournament took place as part of DreamHack Stockholm 2025 at Stockholmsmässan, one of the largest exhibition halls for gaming events, and was streamed to thousands of viewers worldwide. On site, our fan club, the Roaring Bears, brought passionate energy and rallied behind the teams. Our BIG Equipa players Vicu, Hanka, Emmsan, Kyossa, and Astra impressed with tactical skill, strong teamplay, and composure under pressure. With their victory, the team secured prize money of $75,000 from a total prize pool of $223,000.
Strong Performance in the Female Pro League 2025
Before the ESL Impact triumph, BIG Equipa had already shown its strength in the first season of the Female Pro League 2025. With wins against teams like NIP Impact, Fingers Crossed Female, and Confidence, the team reached the grand final but narrowly fell to Imperial Female with a 2:3 scoreline. The performance underscores that BIG Equipa remained a consistent force in European female CS throughout the season.
