Berlin, Germany – June 2026 – BIG are FNCS Major 1 Summit champions. Fortnite duo Taylor-Petrik “vic0” Gatschelhofer and Danila “Malibuca” Iakovenko won the tournament at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, taking the first Fortnite Champion Series title ever decided on German soil. The win secured a $250,000 grand prize and a place at the 2026 FNCS Global Championship.
The First FNCS Event Ever Held in Germany
The FNCS Major 1 Summit was the first major LAN of the 2026 Fortnite season and the first Fortnite Champion Series event ever staged in Germany.
75 of the world’s best duos, 150 players from all seven competitive regions, travelled to Düsseldorf to compete across three days for a prize pool of $1,296,000. For BIG, it meant playing the season’s biggest event so far in front of a home crowd.
Eight Games Decide the Title on Championship Sunday
The title was decided over eight games on Championship Sunday. vic0 and Malibuca claimed first place after one of the most dramatic final games in recent FNCS history, finishing on 406 points across eight matches with 33 eliminations.
The result secured the $250,000 grand prize and qualification for the 2026 FNCS Global Championship, the season-ending event that crowns the Fortnite world champion. As winners of the season’s first and biggest LAN, having beaten the world’s elite, vic0 and Malibuca are currently the best duo in competitive Fortnite.
A Home Crowd Behind the Team
Ahead of the finals, BIG marched to the arena together with the community and Amar “AMAR” Al-Naimi, one of Germany’s biggest streamers and the 2019 European Fortnite Champion, who has close to 1.8 million followers on Twitch.
BIG fans turned out in numbers on-site and carried the team with chants and choreography throughout the event.
The People Behind the Success
Taylor-Petrik “vic0” Gatschelhofer, 18, was already a two-time FNCS Grand Finals winner before this title and is one of Europe’s most consistent players, with more than $800,000 in career prize money.
Danila “Malibuca” Iakovenko, 20, is a proven FNCS Grand Finals winner with a strong LAN pedigree and a legend of the game, having earned over $1.4 million in prize money.
Behind the roster are Chief Gaming Officer Roman Reinhardt, who shaped the Fortnite project and backed this duo, and Head of Fortnite Christian Fray, who leads the division day to day.

Winning the FNCS Major 1 Summit in Fortnite, one of the biggest games in the world, played by hundreds of millions of players worldwide, is a historic moment for BIG. The team did it on home soil, in front of a German crowd, against the best players on the planet.
