Berlin, August 13th 2021 – Following his departure from the starting line-up, we now announce that we have made the decision to release XANTARES from his contract so he can pursue his wishes of competing in a Turkish line-up.
Trophies, MVPs and game winning plays – XANTARES has made significant contributions to our competitive efforts over the last years. With his arrival, the Turkish community also joined us for our journey, and gave us their passionate support. We think it is only right that XANTARES should be able to continue following his dream, and bringing happiness to his fans in the process.
As such, we are releasing him from his contract at BIG, so he can make the next step in his career without the limitations of a buyout and negotiations. Please join us in wishing him the best of luck in this next chapter!

Today we are saying thank you and goodbye to XANTARES. We made the decision to fulfil XANTARES’ wish and to prematurely dissolve his still-active player contract. Thereby, we would like to contribute to helping XANTARES continue his playing career with a Turkish team. From the bottom of our hearts, we wish him all the best and much success with his new team and would like to thank him on behalf of everyone for his achievements and successes with BIG.
